6-channel group motor control unit with time logic and reversing automation for controlling up to 6 awning or roller shutter motors

Important Notes:

No external voltage should be applied to any of the existing switch inputs!
The control voltage for the operating elements is provided by the MSE in low voltage. Any timers connected, e.g., at the group switch input, must be potential-free (e.g., Easy Master from Simu).
Use only push buttons, not switches! These can cause damage to the system and motors.

Features and Functions:

The motor control unit provides high user comfort in decentralized sun protection control systems. Up to 6 motors (230 VAC with mechanical or electronic end switches) can be controlled both individually and in groups. The integrated power supply provides the necessary supply voltage for the internal electronics, allowing the MSE to also function as a group controller without a central unit.
The control is via a 24 VDC control line from the central unit or through the individual/group push buttons. Up to 200 devices can be operated on a single control line without an expansion power supply.
Within a motor control unit, drives can be grouped together using dip switches, and multiple motor control units from the MSE02X series can be grouped by simply connecting their group control inputs.
All motors are individually protected with a 2 AmT fuse.
Time Logic:
Two control programs are available:
e.g., for controlling Venetian blind or shutter motors:
Pressing a local switch for more than 2 seconds in the desired direction triggers a 3-minute pause logic.
By sending a control pulse in the opposite direction, the system can be stopped at any intermediate position.
Control pulses shorter than 2 seconds can move the system open or closed as needed.
e.g., for controlling roller shutter or awning motors:
Using dip switch (JP5.1), the pause logic can be set to activate without delay.
A control pulse in the opposite direction will stop the system at any intermediate position.
Reversing Automation:
The reversing automation function causes the slats of the Venetian blinds or shutters to automatically open (view position) after reaching the lower end position. This reversing pulse in the "retract" direction is adjustable via dip switches 5.2 to 5.4 from 0 to 0.7 seconds. The reversing time can be shortened by pressing the manual switch again in the same direction.

Inappropriate use

Do not allow children to play with the motor controls
Do not use blind switches, these can cause damage to the system and the motors!
If the power cord of this appliance is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

Proper use

Use the motor group controller only to automate roller shutters, awnings, external venetian blinds or Venetian blinds.
The mains connection cable for the drives must be laid inside the conduit up to the junction box. The local electrical regulations must be observed.
A 230V/50 Hz power connection with fuse must be available at the installation site for the electrical connection of the motor group control unit
Persons must be instructed in the correct operation of the motor group control unit
The roller shutter movement must be monitored so as not to endanger persons
