Installation note for mini motors SW40:
We recommend using special mini suspension springs for motor operation with mini tube motors, which only protrude about 1 mm into the roller shutter shaft.
This allows the shaft to rotate freely and prevents damage to the motor.
For steel shafts with a key size of 40 mm (SW40), only shafts with an external flange should be used.
Steel shafts with an internal flange will cause damage and destruction to the motor.

What does bidirectional mean?
Bidirectional means that communication works in both directions. For roller shutter motors, this means that they not only receive commands but also provide feedback. So when you open or close a roller shutter, you immediately receive the information on your smartphone about what actually happened. This way, you always know whether the roller shutter is open, closed, or partially open. Additionally, you can control your roller shutters via your smartphone.
Our bidirectional motors from the RX and RBX series are only compatible with:

- the Connector app in combination with the Wifi-Bridge / Mini-Bridge from 3T-Motors (currently not available) or ...
